Not just the wrist, even using the computer continuously for hours with the same position can burden the entire body. Each of our body parts needs a reasonable amount of rest to work well and painlessly.
Continuous gaming for the longer duration is common examples where a person affects his hand from the mouse.
In such cases, we cannot quit the process until the end of the match. So in the result, the break-less use of a mouse can suffer us into the wrist pain.
So, you have to manage a break from the mouse usage to give the wrist a specific amount of rest. Two to three minutes of pause can even be okay to prevent your wrist suffering from the massive pain.
Get A More Ergonomic Mouse And Keyboard
Your posture isn´t the only thing that can be geared to be more ergonomic. There is a subsection of specialized PC equipment, mouse and keyboards, that are made to be easier on your wrist and thumbs.
For keyboards, you should look for one that has a wrist rest and an adjustable height angle, as this will let you put it in an angle where your wrist is horizontal when you use it. The keys should also be angled together, like so:

The pictured Logitech Ergo K860 is a good example of an ergonomic keyboard, but it´s a bit too expensive for most people. The Perixx Periboard-512 is a cheaper choice that will still do the trick.
Your mouse should be the right size for your hand. You should be able to easily grasp it and the buttons on your palm without bending your hand or fingers. This reduces the force and grip necessary to click the mouse, and therefore, the strain on your muscles.

Some say that trackpads are more ergonomic than the mouse, but honestly, the difference isn´t that big.

Avoid 90° Angles When the wrists arent as flexible, a 90° angle can be rather difficult or painful. In a pose, such as tabletop or cobra pose, it can be helpful to walk the hands forward to reduce the angle on the the wrist . This will reduce pressure and weight on the wrist.; In similar poses, you can keep the wrist straight by doing them on your fists, rather than a flat palm.
